We had the chance to try their Shan food and coffee, and both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were spot on, with generous portions at a great price. What made it even better was knowing they use ingredients they grow themselves for the food. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend!

This cafe is a true gem! My partner and I loved it so much that we ate here for every meal for three days straight—something we never do, but it was just that good. Every bite of food felt like a celebration of the fresh, lovingly grown ingredients sourced straight from their sprawling garden. The drinks were nothing short of delicious, with their lattes and smoothies standing out as our absolute favorites. They went above and beyond to tailor each order to our preferences—whether it was adjusting for dietary needs or personal tastes; all we had to do was ask. The care and thoughtfulness that went into everything here made it an unforgettable experience.

Stopped by for lunch at Khun Pen’s Sweet & Salty after visiting Nam Lod Cave. Food was delicious, cooked with ingredients from the garden. Also loved the pastries esp. pain aux raisins (also available with choc chips) and ice cream (rich choc, black sesame, coconut milk). Make sure to walk in the huge back garden (which has 4 homestay huts) after a hearty meal or stop to talk to Khun Pen and her husband. Take your time to enjoy this relaxing beautiful place.

The owner of the restaurant is a very nice woman, the food is excellent. The whole garden around is amazing. There is a big roof where you can sit and eat in large groups. All the vegetables served are grown in the garden, everything is so fresh and the coffee, which is also grown here, is excellent. In short a really recommended place.

Literally the definition of a hidden gem! Fresh organic food from the garden and a lovely owner that even took time to show the garden. Plenty of options (Thai, western). And the coffee is unbelievable! What a place! 10/10!

Home grown in the own garden, the food was delicious with a lovely view on the rooftop. The service was even better! Best regards from Austria! :)
